Description Made from leather, the tie-up Nilufar Boots, inspired by Irish and Scottish Brogues are enhanced with decorative lotus embroidery at the toes.  Padme is a feminine name of Sanskrit origin, meaning "lotus flower." The Lotus of Life pattern in this collection was inspired from the painted ceiling of the Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai, South India, which depicts a stylized 1,000-petaled lotus flower—a symbol of elevated consciousness.  The Lotus Flower Emerging pure and beautiful from murky waters, the lotus flower symbolizes resilience, purity, and enlightenment.
