We were always in a rush to put the Christmas tree up, because then we got to enjoy the lights and the treats that much sooner. Grandma's hands moved slowly. Little Hannah often commented on her veins and the worn places. "Oh the stories these hands can tell," Grandma would say. And then she would tell them.
