SHELDON METAL LATHE METRIC TRANSPOSING GEAR  3D Printed NEW This is a one piece design 47/37 transposing gear (change gear).  This is a 3D plastic printed gear designed to fit Sheldon metal lathes.   Gear Face Width = .50" (1/2") Overall Width = 1.00" (1") Center bore = .625" (5/8") Teeth = 47 and 37 16DP  Center bore is bushed with an Oilite bushing to provide long life wear characteristics. This combination of sizes (47/37) is commonly used for transposing the speed ratios on metal lathes. While not truly perfect, the margin of error is .0026" per foot.
