We love the Animalintex Hoof Poultice Pads because of the easy-to-use shape. Made from 100% cotton wool with a nonwoven covering on one side and plastic backing on the other for moisture retention. Contains a mild antiseptic (boric acid) to promote faster healing plus tragacanth, a natural poultice agent to promote faster healing. Ideal for cuts, wounds, abscesses, inflammation, skin disorders, and hoof conditions. Aids in wound healing and relieves minor stiffness and soreness. Absorbs exudate; provides moist, clean healing site; cushions sore areas. Can also be used as a dry dressing over open wounds and as a pressure padding.
