Statice from Tissue Culture- SUPERTA

Think fast! Limonium ordering closes on October 19, 2025. Bred by Danziger of Israel, the Superta series is known for being huge and vigorous. The stems are thick and tall and flowers are large and full.  The plants get huge. They easily produce 20-50 stems per plant. The stems they do produce are taller, thicker, and the flowers themselves are fuller and bigger. They are leaps and bounds above seed grown strains.  Traditional florist shops are familiar with "Tissue Culture" statice, and it is often marketed as such in the floral trade. This term is synonymous with quality. Culture- Space 12 to 18" apart. After planting they need a week or two around or below 45 F to effectively initiate their flower buds. They will receive a chilling period before they arrive but there is no harm in giving them more after transplant. When the first stems are emerging from the crown, pinch them out to encourage the establishment of a strong base of foliage which will then support heavy flowering. They
