Chantenay Red Cored Carrot

This is a shorter carrot with a deep orange red center. Chantenay Red Cored carrots came from France in the 1600s. Great for any use and especially for juicing; great for fresh bunches. Like all carrots, these are cold tolerant. All our carrots are Heirloom and Non-GMO.  Red Caged Carrot is a unique and delicious variety. It has a unique, bright flavor with the added benefit of being a vegetable with a low fat content and a high protein conten provides a good source of fiber, vitamins, minerals and amino acids to help maintain the health of your garden.
