Hales Best Cantaloupe

Maturity Date: 80 days   This is the modern standard of cantaloupe that will grow uniform, 4 to 7 pound melons, and be plentiful. They will have an excellent flavor if vine-ripened in a short growing season area. Might want to start seeds indoors in trays or in peat pots. Do not use the blanket seeding method on these melons; they don't like their roots being messed with.  Hale’s Cantaberry is a great tasting variety that has been used for years.
