Heirloom Chioggia Beet

Hello all! This Heirloom, Non-GMO beet came to the USA around the 1900s. It has a lighter, red color along with white circles in it. Its coloring makes it great for salads and pickling! These take about 60 days to mature and grow to 2 or 3 inches across. This is not included in our beet assortment. Very cold tolerant, they can grow almost year round.  non-GMO variety with an intensely sweet and tangy taste. Heir graduated, heather green and white, it's a very low in calories and low-fat formula. It has a sweet, crunchiness that lingers on your tongue for hours after you eat it! This non-gummy, non fat variety makes for an excellent choice when you're trying to occupy your child during the day or at night, as well as a great option when you are out and about!
