The Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) help control vermin populations and are an indicator species who help determine the viability of an ecosystem. Hunting, logging, road accidents, and poisoning are all causes for this species decline. Fox pelts are extremely valuable so foxes are bred for the fur trade and are unfortunately kept in inhumane conditions.
