2023, One Layer Screenprint on French Paper 12 x 12 inches ED. 50 This piece was inspired by a trip to San Francisco’s Folsom Street Fair in 2022, where I felt the freedom and openness of queer and kink expression. That day, wearing a harness and embracing my body sparked the creation of this work. After growing up with shame and restriction around my body, I’ve reclaimed nudity and self-expression as sources of empowerment and authenticity. This piece also questions why our bodies are policed, challenging the patriarchal norms that limit how we exist and express ourselves.
