The best quality ayate washcloths! These natural fiber washcloths are made from 100% dried agave fibers which were sustainably grown without pesticides, harvested, and woven in Mexico. They gently exfoliate, stimulate circulation, and scrub away debris and dead skin cells for refreshed, rejuvenated, and renewed skin.  These washcloths are part of a fair trade project in Mexico which helps support family farms, community schools, pays living wages in impoverished areas, and provides school lunches. The plants were grown on community farms without the use of pesticides or harmful fertilizers. The agave plants helps the communities in many other ways as well - providing edible flowers, nectar for drinks, pulp for animal feed, and fiber for textiles. The fiber for these washcloths is manually extracted, washed with water, and sun dried. No chemicals or bleaches are used in making these.
