NOVEMBER 9th: Tufting Workshop

ONE DAY TUFTING WORKSHOP When: November 9th, 10am-3pm Location: My studio at NW Marine Artworks, 2516 NW 29th Ave, Portland, OR 97210 Park in Industrial Street side parking lot! Not ADA Accessible (Please send me an email if an ADA space is needed and I can let you know future options for workshops) GPS will usually take you to our smaller parking lot off of 29th, but there are two parking lots, please park in the INDUSTRIAL STREET parking lot. Come up the blue stairs to find my studio #330. (more specific directions will be sent out in advance for how to find my studio in the building - please make sure when you checkout to include your email address)    Workshop Overview:During this 5 hour workshop, you will learn all the needed skills for machine tufting and leave the class with a finished 18” x 18” tufted rug! What we will cover: - Material overview- Tufting demonstration- Open Studio time with tufting guidance- Applying adhesive to your rug- Backing techniques- Carving techniques
