Silver Leaf Necklace

This piece is pretty and feminine. It is a perfect accessory for those of us who love gardening and simplicity.The leaf focal (1" x 1/2") was created with Precious Metal Clay (PMC). This clay was rolled and impressed with a Basil leaf (from my garden). The imprint was dried, refined and kiln fired. The resulting Fine Silver* piece was then polished to reveal the intricate, pretty leaf detailing. The focal is accompanied by a Crystal drop in Crystal AB. This drop has been over wrapped with artistic wire. The dangles are suspended from an 18" sterling silver ball chain. *Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver. Precious Metal Clay is comprised of fine silver particles that are in a binder which burns away when fired in a kiln leaving only pure silver behind.
