Light Bearers

  ”Light Bearers” is a 12x18” hand-carved linoleum block print printed in black oil-based ink on 16x20” Japanese kitikata paper. The print is numbered and signed in a limited edition of 60 with the first few available being labeled as AP.   This print features two black ravens one flying with a burning lantern and the other with the key. These two magical birds are the light bearers. This image comes from a series of dreams the artist had during an eclipse. The darkness had taken over and through the depth of the woods emerged a light, fuzzy, distant, but still bright.
