Wheat - Pure Silk by Knitting For Olive

This is a commercially-dyed yarn curated by Fiber Optic Yarns.  It is not hand dyed by us.  This 100% Bourette silk (humanely harvested AFTER the silk worms have hatched from the cocoon) yarn is fingering weight with a wonderfully textured, slight 'toothiness'.  Imported from Denmark and available in an extensive palette of sophisticated modern-forward colors, this yarn is ideal for summer-wear garments and accessories or simply when you need a little understated glam!  50g (approx.  250 meters / 275yards) skeins. Suggested needle size is 2-3 US for a gauge of 7 stitches/in in stockinette.
