S2016 Edged In Lace - Square shawl or throw

This simple garter stitch square is knit in the round from the center out and then bound off in your choice of four different lace edgings. It can be made in many different weights of yarn to any size desired.Size: Make in any size.A 36" to 40" square in lace weight makes a warm shoulder shawl.Create a warmer wrap or baby blanket in fingering or sport yarn.In DK, a 40"- 48" square is a great lap robe and a 50"- 60" square a cozy afghan.Yarn Requirements: These are the yardages, finished blocked sizes and needle sizes that were used for the samples shown.1.
