Spice Market Shawl by Michele Harlass for Fiberlady yarns. Pattern yarn weight:  Pattern Skill Level:  Knitted shawl with lace bands in a stockinette stitch body. The bulk of the knitting is done in stockinette with make one increases and short rows for shaping. There are some short garter stitch bands to accent the garter lace bands. (Garter lace bands have wrong side knit rows rather than the wrong side knit rows found in stockinette lace.) This pattern is written to use Cascade Melilla yarn, but Fiberlady Midori yarn could be used as well.
