Industrial Serial to Fiber Converter [RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422] 2 Duplex Fiber Port FCRID-100-2DT Series

General Description The FCRID-100-2DT Series are Industrial Grade Serial to Fiber converters that come with two optical fiber ports that support the ST connector type interface. With the two optical fiber ports, the FCRID-100-2DT Series converters enable the network topologies such as the star topology. The FCRID-100-2DT Series converters can extend the transmission distance of the asynchronous RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422 serial signals through the optical fibers. Both multimode and single-mode optical fibers are supported. If the single-mode optical fiber is selected, the transmission distance can be extended by 20km. On the other hand, if the multimode optical fiber is selected, the transmission distance can be extended by up to 2km. The FCRID-100-2DT Series converters are designed to be rugged and are suitable to be deployed in harsh environments with their higher operating temperature range.  Features Can be DIN Rail mounted  Rugged in design and come with an IP40 ingress protection
