General Description The SC UPC fiber optic pigtail consists of a single strand of optical fiber that is usually protected with 0.9mm buffer. It has one end of the optical fiber terminated with the SC UPC fiber optic connector while the other side will be left free to be spliced with the optical fiber from the fiber optic cable. It facilitates the connection between the fiber optic cable to the patch panel and other optical equipment.
