Simply switch on and plug in headphones or go directly to an amplifier - nothing else is needed! The setup, accessories, and build is far above anything we have tested in this price range! The 1/8" audio input (labeled "mic") can be used to listen and play along with backing tracks, drones, or a metronome through the headphones (control volume for the input on that device). This feature alone easily makes the Tower Strings Electric the ultimate "silent practice" violin!
