Noa (Guayubira Handle)
Noa is an acronym for Noroeste Argentino, or Argentine Northwest, where a lot of the country's produce comes from. It is our version of the Japanese Nakiri. Noa prefers a plant-based diet and is designed precisely for slicing, dicing, and mincing fruits and veggies. Blade: The blade is made of 420HC MOV Stainless Steel, which is a popular choice in the knife-making world due to its balance of hardness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention, making it versatile and easy to maintain. The blade has a carbon content of ~0.40% and a Rockwell Hardness (HRC) of ~55. Handle: This model features a Guayubira base with a lighter Ash separator. Guayubira is native to the triple-border region of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil. It is known for its distinguished chocolate color with streaks of yellowish-white.
