1920s French Beaded Citrine Silk Velvet Gown | M/L

antique 1920s vibrant citrine yellow silk velvet with all-over silver beaded "bubble" motif. tabard-style deep armholes, piped and gathered accents at the dropped waist. hooks-and-eyes close the top of the left shoulder. a rare and special example of 1920s finery. label: M-------'s Gowns, Paris France. sadly the label has deteriorated and made the maker's name difficult to read. someone may yet be able to solve it though! approx size: medium/large (should have a loose/draped fit) model wears an xsmall, and gown is unpinned on her. bust: 44"waist/high hips (at seam details): 40"hips: 52"total length: 48" good condition. sturdy and wearable. presents beautifully. I have not cleaned, only some gentle spot treating. some scattered bead losses but none that are distracting and the beading seems generally stable to me (they aren't actively falling off when dress is handled/worn). faint musty scent, not overwhelming and may fade with time out of storage/sunbath etc. some scattered spots/marks
