era: 1950s approx. modern size: medium bust: 40"waist: 27"hips: freebodice length: 17 1/2"skirt length: 29" luscious rose print silk crepe. excellent construction and tailoring details throughout. darted waist, and deeply pleated skirt create a classic fit and flare silhouette. open back with tie detail. hidden hip pockets. metal back zipper. fully lined in tissue silk. interior grosgrain ribbon "belt". photographed with a small petticoat, skirt could be made fuller or worn alone for a more subtle silhouette. label: Larry Aldrich, New York condition: very good. freshly cleaned and ready to wear. presents beautifully. some general light variation to color vibrancy (some areas a bit faded), some faint yellowing around neckline and shoulders, and a few faint yellow spots in the skirt. nothing distracting or notable unless making a close inspection. tiny tear in one back pleat at waist has been stabilized with fusible.
