era: 1910-1920 a pretty example of this iconic little bit of Americana- sweetheart bracelets became popular keepsakes between sweethearts during WW1 and continued through WW2- this piece features expandable S-curve links and a large purple faceted "gem" surrounded by a ring of smaller gems in a chased silver and gold setting.  marked "The D.F.B.
