Murphy & Rude is an independently owned and operated malting company located in Charlottesville, VA.  They are committed to working with small and local farms in order to source the highest quality and freshest grain possible. They operate on a very small scale and specialize in specialty malts designed to deliver maximum color and flavor.  This pale chocolate roast brings a little coffee bitterness with heavy cocoa notes and a touch of burnt toffee, smoke, and char. When used together, Murphy & Rude's Milk Chocolate and Bakers Cocoa malts are a match made in dark roast heaven.  ​Color: 250-280LGrist: Under 10%
