Figoin is small green fig with a delicious intense berry flavor.  This variety originated in Italy and became popular in the U.S. after a fig grower named Bass began propagating and selling it. This is an early ripening and cold hardy fig variety.  Self-fertile or common fig variety, which does not require the fig wasps to produce ripe fruit.
