The Iraqi fig variety is a Ficus Palmata, aka Punjab Fig or wild Himalayan fig. Tasty dark purple to black figs with a sweet honey figgy flavor and nice seed crunch. This is a self-fertile or common fig variety, which does not require the fig wasps to produce ripe fruit. Beautiful fuzzy heart-shaped leaves. This listing is for 2 cuttings, suitable for rooting or grafting. Copper name tag included. Fig trees are easy to grow from cuttings. We use the "fig pop" rooting method to root fig cuttings, and have around 80%-90% success rate without rooting hormone. Please do an online search for "fig pop method" to find instructions for how to easily root fig cutting.
