The Iraqi fig variety is a Ficus Palmata, aka Punjab Fig or wild Himalayan fig. Tasty dark purple to black figs with a sweet honey figgy flavor and nice seed crunch. This is a self-fertile or common fig variety, which does not require the fig wasps to produce ripe fruit. Beautiful fuzzy heart-shaped leaves.
