The Martinenca Rimada Fig variety originates from Spain, and produces beautiful striped figs that look similar to Tiger Stripe or Panache figs throughout most of the fig's life. However, the Martinenca Rimada figs turn from yellow/green stripe to a purple/red stripe color shortly before ripening, and will sometimes turn almost completely solid purple when fully ripe.
