Bram Stoker's Dracula poster, 1992 film, Winona Ryder as Mina Harker

Movie and costume artwork inspired by director Francis Ford Coppola's masterful adaptation of Stoker's novel. I only started with one of the dresses Mina (Winona Ryder) wears, but maybe in the future I'll end up drawing more dresses.... and other characters as well. • The watermark will not appear on the printed poster. The costumes by the late Eiko Ishioka (who won the Oscar for this film) took up a significant amount of the budget because Coppola wanted these to really showcase and highlight the actors. All of her designs are richly inspired by historical costumes and historical art, adding depth to the overall film on screen. She gave Mina the green theme color in most of her costumes to represent her youth and feeling of being reborn. Her costumes also incorporate leaf motifs to further this idea of newness and growth.
