the last of summer

As summer draws to a close, I found this lovely moth upon one of my flowers in my gardens and he was SO interested in my flowers, that he totally didn't care I was close to him. The patterns on his wings were simply breathtaking, so, of course I had to paint it! Original, not a print and it's not going to be printed.  This piece is painted with watercolors on Arches 140 lb. hot press paper. Art size is 16x20, NOT framed and will be shipped rolled.
