Dawn Begins to Make a Tree

Up very early, too early, I thought, the dawn drew a tree, first as a faint silhouette, then added a cloud, then some color. I knew, if I stayed any longer, it would become a tree full of sunlight and birds. I left because I knew, that the promise of becoming was what I needed that day, and that what is not yet, will be, in time.   Media: Pastel Size of original: 9x12
