
RapidAir FastPipe Pipe Cutter (Various Sizes)
The RapidAir FastPipe pipe cutter is for use with the FastPipe compressed air system. The pipe cutter is used to cut the FastPipe rigid blue aluminum pie to the desired lengths needed for your installation project. The pipe cutter can be adjusted to fit ¾“ – 2” FastPipe and a separate cutter is offered for the larger 3” pipe. Please note that you will need to purchase the correct sized pipe cutting tool for the size FastPipe you are installing. Specifications: RapidAir FastPipe pipe cutter sizes (cutter tool size based on size of FastPipe you are installing): ¾” – 2” & 3” 3” pipe cutter is specific for the 3” FastPipe Pipe cutters are sold individually FastPipe Installation Steps: CUT PIPE TO LENGTH with tubbing cutter (cut must be square) (DO NOT USE HACK SAW) DEBURR the end of the pipe outside and inside (a smooth edge allows easy fitting assembly and no damage to the fitting o-ring) MARK END OF PIPE for the proper insertion depth ¾” Fittings: 2 inches 1” Fittings: 2 ¾ inches 1 ½” Fittings: 4 inches 2” Fittings: 4 ¾ inches 3” Fittings: 4 ½ inches WET END OF PIPE, with very diluted soapy water (DO NOT USE ANY OIL OR GREASE LUBRICANT) LOOSEN fitting cone nut partially LOOK INSIDE EACH FITTING FOR INNER PARTS (inner parts, o-ring, stainless steel bite ring) INSERT PIPE into fitting until pipe bottoms out HAND TIGHTEN fitting FULLY TIGHTEN fitting with FastPipe spanner wrenches *(Please note that the pipe cutting tool size (range) needs to match the FastPipe that you are working with to ensure that they will work properly.
