Antique 1800s Ornate Floral Filigree Quadruple Silverplate Pressed Glass Pickle

This exquisite antique pickle castor is a true piece of Victorian era beauty. The ornate floral filigree design on the silverplate holder perfectly complements the 1800s pressed glass pickle jar. The piece is marked with the brand, but the left side of the mark wasn't fully stamped. Best guess is that it might be Covington Co. (Information is welcomed and appreciated) and is composed of quadruple silverplate. The age of the item falls within the 1850-1899 range and the style is a perfect reflection of the Victorian era. This pickle castor is a stunning addition to any collection of antique silverplate pieces and is sure to impress any admirer of vintage beauty. This piece includes the tongs and lid. The bottom features a beautiful floral filigree design while the lid is plain, but fits perfectly on the pressed glass or crystal pickle jar. Very ornate, beautiful piece. It measures almost 11 1/2" tall and the pickle jar measures 4 1/4" tall and 3" in diameter. There is a small dent in
