This solid wood four-drawer and flip-top chest features remarkable relief carved illustrations of wise men in palace and garden scenes. Inset chinoiserie panels decorate the top, front, and sides and the handles are cleverly relief carved into each drawer. Camphor wood is commonly used to detract moths. All drawers slide easily. We will fully restore and hand detail this item before it ships.
