I took this photograph of the Solar Eclipse's diamond ring in 2024 in Arkansas. With a 60-megapixel camera and a 600mm lens, I achieved such high magnification that you can clearly see solar prominences—huge loops of plasma extending from the Sun's surface, often mistaken for solar flares.Detail of this photo is also available as print here.
