Our universal gas fireplace remote control installs in minutes and requires no special tools or knowledge. Installation typically takes about 5 minutes and requires only a screwdriver. Guaranteed to work in any gas or propane fireplace. Pictured after the product is a standard gas valve, showing where the receiver hooks up. Gas fireplace remote control has a range of 40′ and comes with a long lasting battery already installed. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Connect the red wire to the TH and connect the black wire to the THTP. Plug in the receiver and that's it! You can now turn your fireplace on/off from up to 40' away. *Note some fireplaces only have one power outlet. It may be necessary to install an outlet multiplier.
