Serpent Ring with Black Onyx

I’ve been wanting to make rings that tell stories. And experimenting with etching techniques to put textures on ring bands. The design on this one reminded me of snakeskin, so I went with that theme and added a tiny shiny brass serpent wrapping herself around a deep black onyx. She looks like she is protecting her egg, or maybe watching over treasure. Sterling silver, brass, and onyx. Size 6.5
