Refractory mortar is a product composed of fused cements and special aggregates that give it a thermal resistance of 2192ºF | 1200ºC.IMPORTANT NOTE: Our ovens are handmade and made to order. APPLICATIONS It is a special mortar for laying refractory bricks and masonry work that will be subjected to high temperatures such as barbecues and paella pans, wood-fired ovens, chimneys, stoves, and repair of boilers or fire areas. SUBSTRATE PREPARATION The supports must be resistant, rough, and clean. In the case of very adherent or porous supports, it is recommended to moisten them to ensure good adhesion. Do not apply on plaster, painted surfaces, concrete blocks, concrete walls, and metallic surfaces.
