Nivisys PVS-7B/D Night Vision Goggle Kit (No Image Tube)

The PVS-7B/D Kit is the standard issue system housing for U.S. ground forces to conduct night operations. This kit is designed to be combined with an image intensifier tube (GEN II or GEN III, not included). When fitted with the proper tube, the PVS-7B/D performs in the darkest of nights. The housing features a built-in IR illuminator for low-light operations and a high light cut-off sensor for protection. The PVS-7B/D kit is a ruggedized, military-proven platform built for harsh environments. Made to be head- or helmet-mounted, the PVS-7B/D housing is extremely lightweight, adding to user comfort for long missions. Using one hand, the unit can be quickly dismounted. The system runs on two standard AA batteries, providing up to 40 hours of continuous operation. Optional 3X and 5X magnifier lenses are available to extend range (sold separately).
