Authentically wrapped with strong and durable cord and decorated traditionally with multiple (2) "TURKSHEAD" sailor's knots. Multiple coats of UV-treated flex epoxy are applied to seal the Calcutta Bamboo for a long lasting and beautiful finish. Calcutta Bamboo is stronger than aluminum or fiberglass gaffs. Gaffs will flex accordingly without bending or kinking like aluminum gaffs. Gaff will float if dropped in water due to Calcutta Bamboo's natural lightweight and buoyant properties.
