Tahitian Vanilla Beans Grade B (By Weight) The extract grade is thought to be Grade B. The Grade B Tahitian pods are crisp and juicy. They are shorter than the gourmet grade A and have a substantially lower moisture content (25–28%). The typical length is between 4" and 6", and it might or might not include flaws like splits or scratches. They might also have less dense seedlings. But they continue to have the Tahitian flowery fragrant qualities. Fantastic for brewing and extract.
