This coffee is produced by the Asociacion de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco El Palto (JUMARP), also known as "El Palto". El Palto cooperative was founded in 2003 by a group of 35 small farmers and has now grown to include 189 members, including 40 women. All coffee produced by the coop is certified both Organic and Fair Trade, and the co-op's mission is to increase production and profitability to benefit its members and their families. With a total of 550 hectares dedicated to coffee production, "Los Andes" is a delicious and socially conscious choice for coffee lovers.
