Tom Anderson T Classic Contour Daphne Blue
Here's another guitar inspired by Pete Anderson. If you aren't familiar with his work, you should check out some of the stuff he did with Dwight Yoakam. We changed the color on this one to Daphne Blue, added a caramel maple neck and gave it a mint green guard that really pops. This guitar is kind of the perfect marriage between a tele and a strat. It has a tele style bridge pickup and strat style pickups in the middle and neck positions. It's also got strat like body contours and a trem. The middle and neck pickups are vintage output and the bridge pickup is wound just a little bit hotter so you can have that extra punch when you need it. All three pickups are hum canceling. While this guitar doesn't have quite the bite of a traditional hard-tail tele, it gets pretty close, and covers a lot of ground while doing so.
