Lettuce - Bibb A butterhead lettuce, matures to be a compact size with large and tender ruffled leaves. This variety does well in our Florida warmth.    Type: Heirloom When to Plant:  North Florida: September - October & February - March   Central Florida: September - March South Florida: September - January Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 8-12” of space between each other. Sow directly into the garden or start transplants undercover.
