You can plant nearly year-round, but you get better tasting leaves when you plant in the early spring and early fall. Type: Heirloom When to Plant: North Florida: September - March Central Florida: September - March South Florida: August - March Planting instructions: Plant in a spot with full sun and well-draining soil. Give each plant 10-12” of space between each other. Sow directly into the garden or start transplants undercover. Plant seeds about ½ “ deep and water regularly.
