El Turronero ~ Galeria del Cante Flamenco ~ CD

This CD plays like a Sevillanas record, except the cantes are all Tanguillos. Makes perfect sense: El Turronero is from Cadiz and not Sevilla. The instrumentation consists mostly of guitars, percussion, and bandurria/mandola type plucked string instruments, the singing is reasonably Flamenco in style, and there's a lot of variety in the melodies of the cantes, though the rhythm is very similar from one piece to the next (which is why I compare it to a Sevillanas CD).
