Ryan Fitzgibbon – Pride in Unity Tee
“No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.”—Marsha P. Johnson While doing research in the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, Ryan came across a June 1983 newsletter by the Gay Press Association containing the following appeal, “During our celebrating, we must set new goals. There is still a great need to join closer together. We must work together and not be at odds with each other…[keeping] in mind this year’s theme: PRIDE IN UNITY.” Inspired by decades of queer activism, this design highlights a broad range of issues facing 2SLGBTQ+ people today. Critical updates acknowledge the members of our community that for too long were overlooked and erased from the telling of our history. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Tulsa Pride presented by Oklahomans for Equality. 5.3 oz, 100% cotton tee in un-dyed natural color Beautiful, long-lasting, 3-color screen print Get your tee as-is, or have us crop or chop (remove the sleeves)!
