The Kurayoshi Pure Japanese Whiskey

Our favorite business associate gift of Holiday 2024! The Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whiskey is a blended malt produced by Matsui Shuzo, a Japanese distillery located in the Tottori Prefecture. This whisky is crafted by blending malt whiskies sourced from Scottish distilleries with Japanese whisky, and it is proofed down to bottling strength using volcanic-stone-filtered water, which is abundant in the region.  Tasting Notes: Nose: Sweet oak and honey, accompanied by a hint of earthy peat Palate: Sherried malt flavors emerge first, featuring notes of raisin and cinnamon, followed by toasted nuts and vanilla pod. Finish: Subtle hints of fresh fruit sharpness and floral barley.
