After meeting at the Art Villa Garikula, the duo infused the region's ancient traditions with a playful, experimental energy, famously teaching the local community the art of pét-nats. This 100% Rkatsiteli is a "Georgian-spirited" project touched by French finesse; fermented for several months in buried qvevri, it pours a hazy, vibrant amber with a bouquet of quince, passionfruit, and dried mountain herbs. At a lean 12% ABV, the 2022 vintage balances a sophisticated, chalky tannic grip with a refreshing, saline finish. It is a textured, living wine that perfectly captures Lapati’s mission: honoring the raw power of Kakheti terroir while embracing a modern, light-footed drinkability.
