The nose exhibits moderate intensity, perhaps a little subdued at first with black cherry, a touch of truffle, cedar and leather with mint evolving with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with lovely balance and a very natural, sensuous personality. What must have been an opulent wine has certainly mellowed into a quasi Saint Emilion styled Cabernet.
